About Sting and Il Palagio

Sting, world-renowned musician and passionate winemaker, together with his wife Trudie Styler, operates the Il Palagio estate in Tuscany. Since taking over, they have restored the historic property and transitioned it to ecological sustainability. The winery produces high-quality wines under biodynamic conditions, promoting the health of the vines and soil. Sting's love for music and nature is reflected in every wine, crafted with dedication and environmental respect.

The wines come from the Il Palagio estate, owned by the famous musician Sting and his wife Trudie Styler. They have restored the historic property in Tuscany and transitioned to biodynamic wine production.

The wines from Il Palagio are distinguished by their high quality and sustainable production practices. They are crafted under biodynamic conditions, which means they eschew chemical pesticides and artificial fertilizers. Instead, natural methods are employed to promote vine and soil health.

At the Il Palagio estate, various grape varieties are cultivated, including Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Vermentino. These grape varieties allow for a diverse selection of red and white wines, as well as rosé and sparkling wines.

Sting wines should be served at their optimal temperature to bring out their flavors to the fullest. White wines and rosés should be served well chilled, around 8-10°C, while red wines should be served at about 16-18°C.

The aging potential of Il Palagio wines varies depending on the specific wine and vintage. Simple wines are best consumed within 1-3 years, while high-quality red wines can be aged for several years.
